Talking mmm Sway Bars

Hi everyone!

So I got a g37s coupe a few months ago and the mod bug has already struck

So far all I've done is Eibach pro kit and 20mm spacers all around.
I personally feel the handling noticeably improved but of course I want more!

So now Sway Bars/ FSTB are up next and I've searched through the forums and got some good info but I still have a couple questions:

1. Is the only real major difference between the Eibach and the Hotchkis that the Eibach fronts are adjustable or is there more to it? Which would you go for...?

2. For those who have either set what stiffness setting do you use for the front and rear?
I don't track but am definitely willing to sacrifice "drive comfort" for added handling performance...

Thanks

Hotchkis is more stiff then eibach.

For stiffness it goes

Hotchkis > Eibach > Stillen

For adjustability, switch Eibach and Hotchkis. I would recommend either one, I've never heard a flaw in either one of them.

Alright, thanks for the advise cleanG!

I think I'm gonna go with Eibach... more adjustable/ I can get it for cheaper then the Hotchkis.

I notice GTSPEC in your sig... what piece/ pieces do you have?
I was thinking about getting a FSTB along with the sway bars... any advise on that?

Thanks

Good Choice, stick w/ Eibach. Haven't EVER heard a single complaint about them!

GT-Spec would be the brand of my strut brace. Very well known part for our cars. I would do the strut brace before the lower tower brace.

Just ordered a pair from autoanything.com,

$358
-15 %
----------
$304.26
-10% rebate
------------------
~$274 shipped.

Can't beat that. I was going to go with hotchkis, but was worried about too excess rigidness in the front, and lack of front adjustment was a turn off.

These were cheaper ($360 shipped from 1xracing) was the best I could find for hotchkis. These come with poly bushings too, but no backets, so oe brackets are reused.

^^ I see you edited the original query. Sometime before the end of the year they had a 15% off coupon on the home page. In addition, eibach had their own 10% rebate. Almost as good as 25% rebate, but still a decent chunk off. I couldn't pass it up. I wasn't planning on getting them them april or may, but at ~$80 off, who could complain.

Took about a week, maybe a bit longer. It was right around new year's, so the holiday's added a few days. They drop ship from CA.

Update: The rebate check for 10% came in today. Total processing time about 3 weeks from the time I sent it in. Come to think of it, this was one of the fastest rebates i've ever received.
