Planning to lower car. help please. - newbie

i found the springs i want on ebay. They're the Tanabe NF210 Lowering springs.

Front Drop/Spring Rate: 1.0" / 7.6 kg/mm
Rear Drop/Spring Rate: 1.3" / 7.2 kg/mm

I was wondering if i need anything else to drop it? cambers? or can i just use the springs and nothing else?

sorry for asking such dumb questions.

Do i need a alignment after lowing them with the springs?
what are the step by step process for lowering a car?

can you post what springs you would recommend? 10 g37s sedan

It all depends how low you wanna go. your drop is going to be lower in the rear more than front logically.... but the front to me is what needs more of a drop. i went with the Eibach pro kit since its 1.2 front and 0.8 in rear looks ok.(Coupe) but sometimes i think the H&R's would have looked nice but then i would have to watch out with the roads. I didnt use any camber kit yet since my tires are still wearing out evenly but time will tell. since you have a sedan things might be different hopefully a sedan owner will chime in.

I had the Tanabe at first. With those springs you don't need a camber kit. Give them a few days of driving to settle and then get an alignment.

No pics. It was a long time ago and I have gotten coilovers since. The front was still too high for my taste. If you want pics of the stance look at Tanabe's website.

lol nvm. idk how to put it to words. but the

eibach pro springs are

Front: 1.5 in
Rear: 1.2 in

wouldn't the tanabe be better for a small drop since its 1 in the front and 1.3 in the back?

I think I understand what you are talking about OP. You want the spring that can maximum drop the car without using camber kit right? I think eibach should be the one you looking, there is tein h-tech that go lower than eibach but I'm not sure that one should get camber kit along with the spring or no.

Im still confused on what you want, Do you want a small drop or a big drop? small drop then yes tanabe will drop it very littlle bit. If you want a large drop then look into s techs and h&r springs, You will need a camber kit though. If you get eibachs the camber isnt that bad, so camber kits arent really needed. They are if you want to get back into factory specs.

I'm running H&R's w/o a camber kit. Camber's not bad, pretty sure it's under -2.

Get the Eibachs and dont worry about the camber kit. Drive it for at least a week then go get an alignment.

You going to install yourself or pay?

I'm probably gonna get the eibachs then. and I don't want a big drop either I don't think I'm committed to driving that low. I drive a truck as a beater and I usually just run over everything. lol
@kid I'm not gonna do it myself
