Coil-Over-Bags set-up. Just Installed. Driveways... HA

I did this so I could make it up driveways or obstacles. There are Cups that are available but i didn't want to spend $2500 for that. So I took a different route and made it all happen for less than a grand.

I made the blank button between the seat heaters a real button to activate the bags. I installed a push button switch under the blank so it looks stock but really works. I don't have any pics of that so if you are curious as to how it looks go out to your car and take a gander.

Hey this is not a DIY. If you have to ask, ask someone else to do it. In all seriousness though if you want info PM me. This is just to let you know that it can be done. It took me about a week to get it all in working order and to get misc. plumbing parts and build brackets. It works great and eases my mind that I can make it around town with no problem.

So far I only know it will work on JIC Magic Coilovers. I don't know if it will work on other brands.

I had changed out the stock exhaust for an aftermarket one and it left the area where the old muffler was open, so that is where I installed the compressor and tank.

Here is a copy of the build sheet from Universal Air Suspension. They make the air bags that where used and sell all the parts.
I had Zack helping me out and he was very informative and helpful. Give him a call if you are interested.

Nice alternative solution, how is the ride quality? And I'm guessing you only have a low and high setting?

Ride quality is the same as running on the coils. Great. There is a steel tube inside the air bag that the car rides on when the bags are deflated, so essentially it's like the bags aren't there while normally driving. And yes it's just inflated and deflated.
