swift springs delayed!
so i went into swift today so they can test fit the prototype springs on my car, but after the stock springs came off, we compared the stock springs to the prototype springs, and the height of the springs were perfect, but the diameter of the springs were way off. the stock springs are narrower on one end, but the swift springs were the same size both ends. they told me that they got the spring ratio and the sizes off of a g37 in japan, and i guess they made a different spring ratio and different size spring for the usdm g37. so they got the ratio and the spring rate from my stock springs and theyre gonna make a new prototype in about 3 weeks and when the spring comes in, their gonna call me so i can come in and test fit onto my car again! if the prototype they had today actually fit my car, they were gonna go straight into production, and the springs wouldve been in the market in about a month, but because it didnt fit, it got delayed again, and itll be out in about 2 monthes! they said theyll keep me updated so if and when i ever do hear from them, ill keep you guys posted!

the crazy part is, on the evo forums, they actually compare swift springs to coils, instead of coil to coil... but if you want, you can always just change out the springs on your coils to swifts! which seems like a better option for people with coils already...
