Downsides to f/r swaybars?

I had a front strut tower brace and rear sway bar on my maxima se a ways back.. What are the downsides of installing front and rear bars and a strut brace on a g37xS?

None, except:
You will go faster around twisties, and get speeding tickets!!!
Your MPG will go down, cause you want to drive those canyons faster.

I don't think there is a downside... will make your car slightly stiffer, but I think that's a positive.

I had both on my 98 maxima as well.

I noticed the biggest difference with the Rear Sway Bar.

I'm just considering whether it's worth the extra $$ to get the front and back in the Hotchkis brand for instance, over just something like an 09 coupe rear bar ($135) and call it a day.

I'm not one to push the car to it's limits or anything, but I did like the way the bar and strut brace made my previous car handle.

Eibachs are good and it lets you adjust stiffness for the front and the rear. I noticed a major difference in how much better my turns are with speed and also eliminated any body roll I had before. The prices are also cheaper than Hotchkis. Talk to Lou from Amplified for more info.

Was looking on the eibach site, they don't seem to list one for the awd model yet. All say 'exc. awd'. Who is Lou?

^ Lou is a vendor on this site for Amplified Motorsports.

I have Stillen F/R sways. I think they're just the right amount of stiffness. Hotchkis have more adjustability, but I think they stiffen the car a lot more also. Depends what you're looking for. I know another member already created a thread comparing Hotchkis, Stillen & Eibach sways and listed all their stiffnesses over stock (coupe). Maybe someone can link that thread for you.

None! Better handling across the board. Do a search for the thread comparing the various manufacturer's and pick one that works for you. You won't be disappointed.

For your awd sedan, your car is most likely to understeer, by adding stiffness up front will only make the car understeer more, you should beef up your rear sways first.
