Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position RE050

Hey guys, so i'm going to go 245/40/19 up front, and 275/35/19 rear.

Question:

Does anyone know the mph rating on these tires? I do click 120, seen 130, but im afraid to go to jail so i usually hit the brakes then lol

Also, is this the correct measurements I should be running to ensure I have top performance and handling?

I've had these tires before, and I love their sticky grip. I want to run them on my g but was looking for someone who is running similar measurements to show a picture if they can!

Those sizes are perfect and those are good tires as well. Check tire rack for rating should be at least V rated, think that's good to 180 mph

look for either letter W or Y, under load/speed rating.

W means 168mph

Y means 186mph

however don't worry RE050A only comes either W or Y. So unless you have speed limiter intact you are fine.

There are both W and Y speed rated versions in those sizes. The W would be good for 168 mph and the Y's 186 mph.

Thanks guys for the quick responses. I am going to switch out two, and then drive on those for a bit until I can purchase the other two.

Firestone complete car care gives the lifetime warrenty alignments, so I am going to purchase that as well considering the dealer loves to take my wheels off and not re-align them then I have bad wear issues.

I guess either W or Y would suit me, I just want to make sure they're sticky, ride good, all-season, and have good tread depth. I had these on a pair of 350z wheels, and the backs rode great, some problems were with the front wheels not the tires.

Thanks all for your info!
