you wont really see a difference between a 9.5 or a 8.0 rim if the tire is on. offset determines how aggressive they look and maybe if you run a stretched set up.

This.

OP, the offset is the factor that determines how flush the wheel is with the fender or how much 'poke' there is on a given set-up.

25offset on a 9.5" rim is really aggressive actually, your going to need a major stretch tire and a hefty drop. Are you considering new wheels or are you looking to buy used wheels with those specs?

BTW we've mounted a 20x9.5 in the front of a G37 with a very high offset so the wheel was sunkin in but it cleared:

(Tire is a 255/30/20 Vredestein)

Second picture is my friends G35, and the reason I have posted. Is to inform G37 community not to go too aggressive. The reason my friend fell 98' off the cliff was because he used aggressive rear wheel. And to make the matter worse the rear tires were rubbing against the fender.

Looks are great but safety first. My friend survived, the accident thank GOD.

Note sure I see the relationship between agressive rear wheel and flying off a cliff. Glad to hear your buddy's OK though.
