Drop affecting VDC???

thinking of getting drop + wheels and since I don't know any local reputable shops...I asked my dealership to give me a price on the install. At first the rep said...sure no problem we have few coupes that get service now that are slammed! then before he came back to give price...he said "there are some mixed opinions from our techs about lowering the car and affecting the VDC" or Vehicle Dynamic Control.
I have never heard of this and searched threads for "VDC". I think it's BS....anybody have a problem with this??

Thanks,
Swizz

dropped on eibachs and no problems. have never heard of anyone having problems with it either.

and dont go to the dealer as you will pay triple what a shop wants.

Nope. There's tons of guys on this forum who are slammed down in the weeds and nobody has reported any affect on VDC yet.

The dealership should be able to offer an appropriate alignment, you should also consider a camber/toe kit for the rear, although it may not be necessary, but all cars are built a little different, and would be a pain to have to get another alignment finding out the hard way.

Should have zero issues with the VDC..

Try this place, they are pretty good on tires mounting and also using good balansing machine:

Freedman Tire Service, 1690 State Route 27, Edison, NJ 08817-3449

Not exactly Belmar but not far anyway, I just mount tires on my new 19 inch rims there. Someone suggested them to me too from this forum.
