Anyone do a Caliper Rebuild?

Has anyone done a caliper rebuild? The dust boots for the pistons on the front are cracked, need to replace them. (2008 G37S, approx 24kmiles) Searching for a rebuild kit (haven't called dealer yet) but can't find one.

I've rebuilt plenty of calipers (never on the G though) over the years. I don't think you really need a rebuild kit....it sounds like you just need piston boots. You should be able to buy them at the dealership. I am surprised that yours are cracked already on a relatively new vehicle.

Thanks for the part info!
I have tracked my car, so I suspect the cracking is due to high brake temps.

Noticed it when I was replacing the pads. I am also noticing uneven wear on the pads. The outter edge of the pad (outter edge of the rotor) is wearing faster. Suspect the dust boots might be causing this but not sure. This is the second time for uneven wear.

Uneven pad wear? Check the pistons to make sure none of them are seized.
