Thinking about VR G2s in 19 inch. Wil the weight saving over stock G37S wheels yield any performance advantages for daily driving?

the 19s G2s weigh about 22lbs compared to the 26lb stock wheels. I dont think it would affect daily driving very much. but 4 lbs per wheel would make quite a difference on the track. also depends what tires you get with them

I couldn't tell the difference. they're definitely more than 4lbs lighter though for sure.

On the street you'll never notice a difference unless you really really know what you're doing. On the track it will be very noticeable. That's true for just about any wheel in terms of weight.

IMO Vossen & TSW are "overdone" just as much if not more than Volks. Get what you like and don't worry about what others have! Bottom line is our cars are getting more and more popular and it seems like these 3 brands cater to our fitments! If you can afford to spend $1500 per rim without tires then you won't have to worry about being part of the "OVERDONE" crowd! LOL. Click the link below, get those wheels and you probably won't be "OVERDONE"!

I think I may go with Dark Gun Metallic Avan RS 19X9 +38 all around approx $700 per wheel.

if you got cash for volks, then your in the world of forged wheels. It's vast with lots of new companies so do your research before you buy.

volk and vossen may be 'overdone' on the forums but how many people do you see rolling around on them in your town? get what you think looks good.
