19" staggered to 18" not staggered

Going from 19" to 18" rims for winter tires. Does anyone know if it makes any difference to use 225/50/18 all around instead of staggered with 245/45/18 on the rear? I will be using the Blizzack LM 60's which come in both sizes.

Thank you

Staggering is not a requirement. It's mostly for aesthetics and performance. You'll be fine! Just keep your overall rolling diameter the same or as close as possible to stock!

Yeah I just got a set of winter tires just like that and it seems fine. When I had my 03 cobra i actually went from non staggered->staggered and it didn't really make a difference at all, aside from the rear end looking badass.

Do the 245/50/18's fit over the bigger brakes of the S?

the tire size will have nothing to do with the break clearance only the wheel design

We typically use the 225/50-18 all around as it keeps closer diameter to oe.

Let me rephrase, will the 18" wheels clear the bigger breaks?
