I agree, looks more like a platinum or gunmetal chromish to me. Still looks much better than plain chrome though.

Very nice. I was gonna powdercoat my wheels gunmetal grey (I've got a silver car) but the black chrome I think would look even better. And I like shiny stuff. It's my redneck side. HAHA

This is the second Infiniti dealer that I have known to do this to stockies. If the dealer has some affiliation with a place that does chrome, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to.

That was my opinion on it. After seeing it for a few days now, it's grown on me, but I can't help wishing it was a bit darker.

Today I received a call. Since the rims are taking too long on back order, my sales rep offered to replace all four of my stocks with the more pricey black chrome stocks free of charge.

I have a PG 6mt sport coupe on eibachs. Should I take the deal or stay with what I have? Opinions? Pictures?

Pic with chrome before the drop.
I don't have an answer for you, but an observation. I'm in a similar position myself, searching for new rims to replace my very ugly stock, non sport model 18s. Ive not seen in person, a G with black chrome rims which is why I started a thread asking for pics of G's on aftermarket Black Chrome. I have however seen black chrome on other vehicles in person. They were on a Challenger SRT at a local car show and they were unrivalled in appearance, even by the supercars that were there. They looked so sharp that I have been searching for a pair ever since. Now I'll be honest about not liking the pattern of the Black Chrome G rims available, which is why I haven't already purchased a pair. But if you do like the style of the oem black chromes, I would get them for sure. Especially if you have a black or graphite G. Hope that helps.
