Do I need this part??

Do I need this part??

On the front rotors, I noticed this bolt sitting there. It seems like it is meant to help with getting the rotors off the car if they are stuck/corroded on. Is there any harm in removing it (as far as I can tell, it's not holding anything in place)?

it's the 6th that is a bit closer to the center in the pictures

Dude, thats the flux capacitor you never want to touch or remove it.

If i remember correctly you do not need that bolt, but I cant remember what its function is for though, do u have a sport?

Yes, it's a Sport. Flux Capacitor.. That's why I'm stuck in 2009...
I really think it's just a bolt with a spacer; you would remove the spacer to forcethe rotor off the axle. I took it off, because my new winter wheels were not fitting, I don't see any problems, just wanted to make sure that all 4 wheels don't pop off at 100mph+..

No your fine, I remember previous post about rims not fitting and the advice was to remove that bolt. hold on let me find the thread.

yup that bolt helps you get the rotor off... when you need to in the future just pop it back on
