FORGESTAR Wheels : Flow-Formed, Lightweight, Custom Fitment!

Hey guys, this is a pretty exciting new product intro for us, as it represents a great niche product. Over the course of the last few years the wheel market has exploded, however there is a pretty large divide from a pricing and performance aspect. Most of the cost effective wheels have 1 or 2 fitments and are heavier. Most of the forged custom wheels have infinite fitments, are lightweight and run the cost of a average mortgage payment! lol

FORGESTAR Wheels has been launched to bridge this gap while offering:

Quality 'Flow Form' Construction
Light Weight (approx 25lb for a 19x10")
Custom Fitment
Cost Effective Price Point.

Here is some info about the Flow Form Casting process, which is a hybrid of forging and casting, and is used by companies such as BBS and Enkei:

Flow Forming is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. During Flow Forming, pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel.

20's are in development, but it will be a while before they are available.

I wish they would have came out with 20s right away and more style to pick from. It seems like it could become a good alternative though. Keep us posted.

Perhaps based on your style preference, but for performance, these are lighter, wider and stronger than OEM stock wheels.

Just a little food for thought.

They are just getting started, and there will be more designs to come.

The thing we really wanted to get across was the fitment, quality and craftsmanship of the new brand.

Thanks so much for the kind words.

just being honest. nice to see more options for these cars since they're still relatively new. a company willing to listen to its customers is also a plus.

I would like to see Brushed without the Black Accent. I'd take these wheels in GOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.

The finishing is actually custom so GOOOLD is an option! I have no pics of it unfortunately.

I'm a big fan of 5 spoke wheels. Also fond of high quality wheels at a low price too. I'll be waiting for the 20's.
