There are so many factors that it's hard to say the number of miles... For some people it may be 10,000 for others it may be 20,000. A friend of mine needs now OEM tires on his G37 and he's at 16,000. Others here have posted they needed them around 10,000.

I'm sitting on 25k on my OEM tires now......Still showing a fair amount of tread.....

All tires have a wear band running across them. Once the tread wears even with those left to right bars you should start shopping for new tires....

FWIW....don't wait till the tires are totally bald. And traction control can only do so much with bald tires. Be careful; k bro?

If the tire is wearing evening accross the treads, you should replace the tires at 2/32 of tread left or when the wear bar is even with the tread.

dude theres little indicators on ur tires bro ..... look between the treads of the tires .... u'll see little raised parts in the gaps .... when ur tires wear down to that point its time to change .... of course i wait even longer till my threads show .... that crap is expensive man ... gotta get every last mile in for me ....i blame it on the economy =)
