Blue Dot On Rims

Did anyone else's rims come with a blue dot on them? Looks like it was painted on or something. I have it on all four corners but haven't tried to take them off for fear of scratching the rims.

I thought maybe the blue was because my car is Athens Blue but I saw it on a red G37 recently. What is it?

There is an old post about this on the site. Do a search. I think the dots are used for balancing or something. It is completely normal.

My OB coupe had the same...I called the dealer to ask about it...He said it's used to balance the wheels with the tires from the factory...It's normal and apparently comes off after some time...The dealer can have the detail department take them off for your immediately if you dont want to wait...
