eibach pro kit made special for the G37 is way i am going to go...i did not wanna jump the gun on the g35 springs with our heavier car and have it settle lower and ride differently. i wanna do it properly and as fine tuned as possible. 1.2in up front and .8 drop in the back look and sound good to me. im gonna keep my stock 19s on it for a year too! with this subtle drop does anyone expect increased risk for driveway curb problems, speed bumps bottoming out, etc.?

does it all look pretty legit? im guessing on a performance coupe like our G - the margins of gains such as with 0-60, mpg, etc. will all be more narrower margins.

 

anyone get the eibach springs on the g37 Sport? pics??? Also it says on stillens site that a camber kit is necessary for proper alignment...

Are the Eibachs the way to go for minimal drop from all springs available today?

 

I didnt want to start a new thread for this but I read on another thread where some chick dropped her g37 with the H&r springs and couldn't get her camber back into spec with the built in correction that our cars have.
So anyone know of what camber kits are out for the G37? I'm putting on the eibach pro kits when they come out at the end of the month and I want to get It back to factory specs. Extending tire wear is my goal.

 

Rear camber kits are available. The ones in the Modding411 section are suppose to work. There are no front camber kits yet.

 

Ok rookie question I know but would I need Rear Camber Adjusters, Rear Adjustable Toe Arms, Rear Camber Arms, or Rear Toe Arms?

Sorry for these questions but I never had to learn this stuff before because tires were so cheap.

And any front camber kits in the works that you know about?

 

^^Sorry but I cannot answer your questions on what is need since I am a noob at the whole lowering thing and camber kits. I am working with SPC to get some front camber kits made but I am still waiting to hear from them. The techs looked at my car and are now going to their marketing department to see if there is a need for the part.

No Eibach is actually not the only option for us.

Eibach Pro Kit, Tein High-Tech, and Tanabe NF210

^^^^^Those 3 springs all specialize in subtle, conservative and tasteful drops. lowering some center of gravity, eliminating at least half the fender gap up front and a tad in the back, lowering nose dive when stoppin and improving cornering etc, all while not increasing spring rate more than about 5% to maintain close to OEM ride and therefore probably minimizing the overall wear on the vehicle's OEM suspension. Also I assume that a subtle drop would have a better chance of getting the car's alignment back into spec without issues.

Also the more subtle the drop the less tire tread wear is increased (assuming an alignment is done)

I believe the Tanabe is the most subtle of the drop of the 2 listed with just an inch up front and .7 in the back. I might choose those springs just for that. The Eibach and Tein H-Techs are pretty similar - about 1.2 inch for the whole car at both ends.

Most of these spring companys do NOT recommend installing half a set and just putting springs up front.

What do you think you may go for?

 

im a noob at it too...ive lowered an accord on eibach pro kit and gave it an alignment and i absolutely just left it alone after that. who knows whats outta spec on that thing. I wanna do it right on my G.

 

Tanabe is the only option right now... the other 2 are not out yet... I may go with Tanabe till coilovers make the debut...

well true - but eibach will be out and ready to mail within 2-3 weeks as they have already listed the product on their site as well as some other sites such as advancedspeedshop ---- so unless u need springs this moment i would say it's between tanabe & eibach Im under the same dilemma. I like the name and renowned reputation eibach has - but I like the most subtle drop which Tanabe's NF210 offers. What's the deal breaker???
