ROAD TRIP! 375 miles to ForgedPerformance for Volks and H&RS!
Looks great Michael! I will post up a few more pics shortly. I couldnt stop staring at the car. Like Michael said....pics don't do this car justice.
Just an FYI, we quickly removed the inner fender liner, which takes about 4 minutes to do. Then use a sharp knife and followed the same shape of the fender, but removed about 1 inch of material. Looks stock....if someone were to look at the inside of your fender.

since you've played with the fender lining.. here's a thought..
when i lower my car, i was planning on just cutting off that lip portion (just where it curves) of the lining and then using double sided tape to hold the lining to the fender. do you think this would work? i haven't looked at it too much
and man that car is sexy. lol i want another one in red

Remember, that rubbing is only an issue with the aggressive offsets, and the low drop. If you have a low drop, and more moderate offsets, no modifications will be needed, and you wont rub.
Yes, that is exactly how we cut. Just follow the general shape of the fender liner. We focues on the meat center section, since that is the area with the potential to rub.

question on the rubbing..
it only rubbed during suspension travel, right? There weren't any clearance issues with the car just sitting there was there?
Just wondering how bad the rubbing was

I'm guessing you mean before the grinding, b/c right now rubbing isn't really an issue..The answer to that is that no, it never touched anything just sitting there, only when driving/turning.
