Tein Basis without Camber kit

G37s Sedan

Goals: Stock ride height, same level of performance as stock sport suspension
I may lower it slightly if I can get away without needing a camber kit

Few questions
1. Can the tein basis be set to stock ride height?
2. Will I need a camber kit at stock ride height?
3. What's the most the car can be lowered without a camber kit?

Even stock cars can demand camber kits. Expect to need them.
When everyone says save money for camber arms and toe adjustments they're right.

I'd imagine there'd be minimal need at stock height?

I am wondering if stock height can be achieved on the tein basis z without comprising its life/performance

Any suggestions on actual strut replacements for the sport sedan that will achieve stock ride height? Only considering these coilovers as they're supposedly cheaper if not the same price as struts (From what i've read)

Min and Max ride heights for most coilovers are easy to find through the manufacturer :

As for the camber kits, it really seems to depend car to car for some reason. If you are okay paying for 2 alignments and separate labor(if not installing yourself) then install the coilovers, get the alignment, then re-evaluate the need for additional camber and toe adjustments.

If you’re staying close to factory ride height, and actually even down to like a 1.5” drop IIRC, the front end camber/toe will be able to stay within spec. The rear not soo much.

Thanks a ton! That makes a lot of sense, didn't factor in potential re-alignments and doing the job twice

Better to spend the money once. I'm looking for a minimal drop, so not having to worry about the front is a relief
