Help! Can't close rear spring bucket

I am trying to reinstall stock springs in the rear of my coupe but I can't close the spring buckets to insert the bolt. I am using a 3 ton jack to try to close the buckets but it only lifts the rear of my car after moving the bucket about an inch. I tried jacking up the bucket from every angle with no success. I even tried lubricating the bolt holding the inside of the buckets. Should I loosen the bolts holding the inside of the buckets? Should I get mini spring compressors to compress a few of the coils? My full size spring compressor won't fit.

Any suggestions or solutions to this issue?

Thank you.

Loosen the otherwise. It may be binding the bushing.
