My friend is a little stupid and does not know how to use this forum. Hes told me to ask what front strut bar will fit 2008 G35S Sedan. Hes purchased Cusco strut bar and the top hat bolts were too short, so he could not bolt the bar down. Hes trying to figure out which strut bar will fit his car without any issues.

 

Can you post a pic of the bar sitting on the mount? I was under the impression the Cusco bar would fit since it's the same chassis. Does he have stock suspension? With stock tophats?

 

He does not have any pictures because he has sold the bar. He does say that he has stock struts and top hats, but he does have lowering spring. When I was comparing the strut bolts to my 2011 sedan, they looked a lot shorter. He said that his friend also has an 08 sedan and his bolts are short like his. I personally think that maybe the previous owner changed out the shocks for some weird *** "oem" ones but im not sure.

 

I have an 08. I'll check my top hats. Simple solution is to use the g37 sedan top hats as the springs and struts are the same.

Could you post a picture of your top hat bolts and how far this stick out from the engine bay, so I can show him that he probably just has the wrong top hats for his car.
