08 g35xs v36 Sedan brakes
hello,
When braking my steering wheel turns to the right. I suspect it’s a sticking caliper on the left side but I can’t find front brake calipers for the xS model. Rear calipers should be the same as non sport models so I’m not worried about that. If anyone can guide me in the direction of where to find them I’d really appreciate it. I’d like to stay away from rock auto as I’ve heard bad reviews from them recently.
Thanks!

Only the rear- wheel drive sport models got the akebono calipers and bigger rotors.
I was under the impression that the AWD sport models had regular rotors and calipers that are found on the non-sport models.
if that's the case, regular rwd/awd non sport calipers should be compatible.
you can try to press the piston back in to check if it's seized.

1. go pick up a can of 3m brake lube/anti seize
2. Put on some inspection gloves and work clothes... this **** doesn’t wash off
3. Pull slide pins and pads off. Inspect parts for damage/wear, replace as needed. Lube the contact points where the pads slide. Lube the pins and reinstall. Put a small dab on your brake bolts and torque 5ftlb over spec (accounts for antisieze)
4. Put a little on the center-bore interface to prevent sticky wheel syndrome.
5. use the can of 3m goop for the next decade of work.

I wrote that because some people use the search feature and will select both titles and thread content as search criteria. Unless they remember to look at the forum in which the thread resides, someone searching awd brakes might not catch that the xS sedan and xS coupe have different front calipers until they read this thread.
