Q60 Journey to Sport Upgrade

Believe it or not, I have a 2014 Q60 (rebadged G37 Coupe) with only 1,500 miles on it. It is a Journey trim, but I wanted to upgrade the suspension to be a little stiffer like the Sport trim-level models, but staying as OEM and stock-looking as possible. The car is a daily driver; not a track car.

I was considering taking the OEM sways (front and rear) and springs from a 2009 G37S Coupe, and leaving the stock Journey shocks/struts in place on my Q60 since they are practically new. The wheels will remain stock 18".

Alternately, I was thinking of using Tanabe NF springs and OEM sways (front and rear).

I'm looking for opinions on how it will ride and if I'm going to kill my Journey-level stock shocks/struts? Any help would be appreciated!

For something stiffer I would just get some sway bars and leave the strut/spring alone. I'd recommend hotchkis and you adjust the stiffness however you like. Best bang for your buck. Springs won't do too much and will compromise the oem struts eventually and coils are pretty expensive (unless you plan on dropping sometime soon). I have the sport model and I can tell you that its not that much stiffer than the journey. The most noticeable driving aspect from the sport model comes from the 19" wheels.

If you are interested, I have a set of oem springs from my 2014 Q60S. They were removed at 20k miles and are boxed up for shipping. Only asking $80 plus shipping.

Are the Sport springs stiffer/lower than base? I wasnt aware of that, I knew the sway bars are a better upgrade.

Just stiffer as far as I know. I don't think there is a ride height difference.
