When running p/n's the price of the calipers is less than most eBay listings except a couple outliers. Just curious if anyone upgraded to used and had issues? I am on the hunt for two new doors (car totaled then bought back) so if I can score some cheap calipers in my search I may pull the trigger.
With used it always depends on the "true" condition, if you have to have them rebuilt/resealed and refinished then the costs will soon add up.
There have been some used sets here from time to time, but the savings aren't much vs. a new set.
Might get lucky and find some in a junk yard but most of them know they are a premium brake upgrade so the price will reflect that. Or find someone parting out a wrecked G and just wants to get out from under it.
Keep a look out on AutoZone, Advance, Rockauto, and the others. I bought new rebuilt Calipers, new rotors, Banjo bolt, ceramic pads and hardware for under 400. Just painted them and waiting for the paint to cure before I install them.
