I had strut tower braces on my last car and it was night and day, but that was also a GM W-body, which has more body flex then an inflatable raft. I suspect it's not necessary with the G

Necessary, probably not. But, I would imagine its still a benefit. Otherwise why would they bother with it on what I can only assume is a chassis with even less flex than our cars, the 370Z.

Usually stability at speed. Aero tuning needs to consider front-rear balance.

Obviously i'm talking about vehicles where it is unnecessary and merely for aesthetics.

I bought the spoiler for my sedan...because I don't like the chromed duckbill. Otherwise, I like the shape of the trunk. Didn't know about plastidip six years ago.

2011 came with a spoiler, not a wing.

Not sure I understand your comparison. Based on your response, I can only assume that you feel a STB does nothing but add looks, under the hood? I can respect that, but respectfully disagree.

I cannot say that I have tested my theory, but typically adding a solid piece of metal between two, otherwise "flexible" points will usually help to decrease that flex. They did it underneath the car, I can only assume that topside would see a benefit as well. Again, all stipulation...

Either way, I like the looks of the Alutec bar and if I do not gain any benefit from it, other than the looks, so be it. I am just willing to bet there is more to gain than looks alone.

^ In all honesty, you can barely detect any difference of a STB under normal driving conditions. You need be driving hard in order for it to make any difference you an detect.

Get STB for the aesthetics if you want. But if you think you feel like your handling is better, you're either like that girl that could feel a pin under a mountain of pillows or it's a placebo effect. My money is on placebo.

I said it before. if you want actual improvement to your car's suspension then you should get sway bars.

It's not like this is a mod exclusive to our cars nor is it new technology. Do some research on STB.
