2009 G37xS Brakes and Rotors

Hello everyone,

I'm a bit confused when it comes to which parts are in my 2009 G37xS sedan. I was looking at rockauto and interested in the Akebono brake pads
and I'm am unsure which would fit the gar.

I'm assuming it would be the sport because of the S in the model number, am I correct to assume that?

AKEBONO ACT1347 {Click Info Button for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} ProACT Ultra Premium Ceramic Pad Info
Rear; w/Sport Brake Package; Akebono is the OE Manufacturer; OE Pad Material is Ceramic

AKEBONO ACT905 {Click Info Button for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} ProACT Ultra Premium Ceramic Pad Info One of our most popular parts
Rear; w/Standard Brake Package; Akebono is the OE Manufacturer; OE Pad Material is Ceramic

Thanks for the help!

Your XS sedan has the same brakes as the non-sport RWD sedan, this will be the model with 320mm front, 307mm rear rotors.

Thanks for the prompt response blnewt! Would you have a recommendation as to which rotors would be good to use?

Are Akebono pads the best one out there?

Akebono pads are a good choice, Centric premium rotors are solid, and Stop Street Pads are another decent pad choice, the new Stoptech Street Pads (not the Sport ones) will have improved bite but not the excess dust of the previous versions.
