Sway bar, 2008 coupe fit 2011 sedan?

Hi guys,
There's someone local to me selling a 2008 G37S coupe sway bar. Will this just bolt onto my 2011 G37XS Sedan? Is it worth buying? I think ours is like 17mm and the S coupe is 24mm so a significant difference?
Thanks!

All of the rear sways are the same, as far as fitment. So you will be fine there. As for the thickness, you have those numbers correct as well. I actually did a similar upgrade, going from stock X rear sway to a 370Z rear sway, which is the same as the G37 RWD sway. I can definitely feel the difference and it was well worth the small investment.

I would not pay much for the bar though, as they are available all over the internet for well under $100. I think I pay $60 shipped to my door for a bar in nearly perfect condition.

Awesome, thank you! Yeah I can get it from a crashed car for $80 CAD. The issue is, the car was hit from the rear so I don't know if the sway bar would be affected. Anything I should look for? I also might take the brakes off it to upgrade to big brakes. Disappointing that we paid extra for the S model but caus of the X, I get nothing except paddle shifters and seats. Would have been nice to have the aggressive suspension components and big brakes too.

I would check to see if it is bent. Odds are its not, but worth checking. Also, if you plan to use the end links from the crashed car, instead of your own, check them for damage. I would just use your end links off your existing car or buy new, upgraded ones. But, other than being bent, I cannot imagine what might be wrong with it.

Okay perfect, thanks. Yeah I was just going to use the end links from my own bar. So $80 CAD which is about $60 USD, picked up, seems fair?

Yeah, seems fair as long as its in good condition. Some surface rust is even ok as well, as you can just wire wheel it off and spray a fresh coat of paint on it. But, anything beyond surface rust and I would just find a different bar.

Why do you think it didn't fit? It was too stiff and oversteered?

So someone agreed to sell me their OEM set off their 370z. Fronts wont fit, rears will (im assuming?), will it actually be a huge difference compared to OEM? Everyone here always says sways are the biggest mod so I wasn't sure.

I see. If I were to lower the car a little, do you think it would work perfectly?

I have no real world experience with the S bar, but having installed the RWD bar, I would actually like just a bit more oversteer. Just my two cents.
