I have a 2012 IPL and I love the stock suspension but it just looks too high, especially the front. I was wondering if anyone has lowered only the front of their G and how they like the way it looks and drives. If anyone has done this please post pics too. Thanks.

Having a bit of rake is okay, but I don't know to what extent you want to lower the front.

 

I was thinking 1"-1.5" drop

Thanks for the info. I don't want to mess with the balance of the car but it looks perfect with just the front lowered. I don't know what do to.

 

Use springs off 370z in the rear put thinner spring pads

 

On my G37S I lowered just the front with 370z springs. It looked great, handled great and barely put out my camber. I havent done his with my IPL, I'm going to do coilovers because I'm getting a deal from a friend.

Yes. Just the OEM 370z springs up front.

 

I might just end up doing that. Did you keep stock struts/shocks?

 

Yes u can use stock shocks even better if you get springs and struts as a whole

 

G37 doesn't use a strut front-end.

 

It's same as z but spring rate is different
