brake rotors uneven wear, rotor or pad?
Hi, folks:
it has been raining here, and I have been out of the country for three weeks. I parked my car outside during these three weeks. When I came back from airport, I drove my car to gas station to get gas. When I did some quick eyeball inspection of my car, I found the the uneven wear on my left front brake rotor. See pics for details:

What's wrong with this rotor? it seems the brake pad contacts half of the rotor deeper than the the other half.
About the rust on the rotor: I know you will common about it. I regret I replaced the stock brakes with these ProStop brakes. The rotors simply rust like it was born in junk yard, rather than from some assembly line. Only good thing is: they do not warp as the stocks did.
Thanks for tips!

If you are not getting vibration when braking, I wouldn't worry too much.
If you still worry, get a micrometer to check for unevenness and perhaps get the rotors turned and rebed the pads. I think at O'Reillys they charge $25 each rotor.
