xS with RWD sway bar, to Hotchkis? Yes or No?

Currently own a 2012 xS with OEM RWD sway in the rear, and dropped on Swift. I already love the difference it made to my car.

My question is how much more will the Hotchkis (front and rear) add to the experience. Will it be as big of a difference as going from AWD sway to the RWD sway?

In my opinion there will be a difference, but not as much as you would think...reason why I decided to go the path I did when I had my G37xS.

Of course there will be an improvement...is the price difference to upgrade worth it to you?

Without owning an AWD, and having swapped swaybars like you have done and are proposing to do, all I can contribute is what I've read here, and what I've done with my car; (which was upgrade from the RWD swaybars to Eibach, both front and rear.) I suspect your experience would be a incremental change, along the lines of what you already did putting the RWD rear sway on your car. Incremental overall, but much better than your current configuration.

That said, it's still all relative to other components, like shocks and tires.

If your're looking for opinions as motivation, then yes, do it. Definitely.

Hotchkis was my goal from the beginning. But I saw the OEM rear for cheap, and I have no regrets getting it at all. Seeing what you guys have said, I am pretty sold on Hotchkis.

Hopefully someone will sell them soon so I can have them when I swap back to summer setup

I'm not sure it will be as noticeable as going from a X rear sway bar to a Sedan as the jump in diameter is only 3-4mm off the top of my head. Also, torsional rigidity of the bar also comes into play. The OEM X rear sway bar was pretty weak.

Already the AWD front sway is thicker than the RWD and by upgrading/replacing the stock rear AWD sway with a RWD sway, it has already improved and balanced the natural understeer of the G37xS.

Purchasing Hotchkis will be an upgrade to your current set up, but as I mentioned on my previous post...the difference will "not" be as noticeable as you predict.

It will probably produce a more stiffer/harsher ride.

If you haven't installed a front strut bar, maybe consider that as another option.
