Convertible Rear Camber

Good evening guys,

I was looking at getting the Eibach Pro-Street Lowering Springs (1.1/4″ Drop – Frnt// 1″ Drop Rr), however from everything I have seen on the forums it seems as if these create an issue with the Rear Camber and adjustments need to be made. I tried searching but couldn't find an answer, has anyone developed a rear camber control arm kit usable by the vert yet? The latest posts I could find were from 2014 there were none. I have an '09.

Thanks

Payton, your only option for rear camber correction on a vert is to use the SPC camber bolts that still use the OEM camber arms, these are the same bolts as are used for the toe correction and you have to use a dremel tool to elongate the bolt slots. You will be able to get your vert in spec that way for drops up to about 2". Here's a link on that, and you would need two kits (one for toe, one for camber)

Thanks blnewt. Do you think I would need that for just the 1" drop or will an alignment be enough?

if they'll get you in spec with a 2" drop, you should be fine at 1".

Yeah I was more curious if you even needed the camber kits or could make enough correction through an alignment with only the 1" drop.

Yeah, if those springs truly drop only 1" you may be able to get by, or maybe only the toe bolts to get your toe corrected.
