Likewise! I didn't even touch on the front/rear sway bar balance. Also, some bars are solid, some are hollow so the OD doesn't always equate to a stiffer bar.

Here's a good thread with different sway bar diameters and stiffness:

For what it's worth, I haven't even touched my swaybars. Stock G37S sways all around, without any adjustment. All my tuning has come from suspension and tires.

On the racetrack, G37x is a completely different animal. Grips waaay better in the corners than the RWD G37.
The only downside to it is the steering rack ratio.
The steering ratio is even more annoying when maneuvering the car on tight parking spaces.

Oh... for some reason, G37x also have a smaller diameter exhaust that cause the engine to feel different too.
Feel's more torquier than the G37 but rev's bit slower.
I had the FX37 (awd) for some time and now i have the G37x and G37 vert.
The G37 vert rev's faster. But the G37x pull's harder, just like the FX37. The FX37 was slower then the G37x, i think due to additional weight.

I also drove the FX50. The funny part is that the FX50 felt EXACTLY like the G37x. The added power of the FX50 compensated the weight difference. Anyway, FX50 had the adjustable suspension that made a big difference on the corners.

Lol that Car and Driver article was tough to read. But fair enough, its a heavy bitch that does a great job with what it has. It can keep the 400lbs but add some anti-sway bars with a good cornering alignment on some better tires and I have no doubt it would compete a ton better.

IIRC, it was the low end torque advantage of the 3 series which allowed the driver to power out of the turns more quickly. That and the handling "feel"

so why does everyone cry about the g37 weight which is about 3600lbs and bmw 335 is about 3500. the g37 is not unbelievably heavy like people here make it out to be

The BMW may be near the same weight on paper, but it does drive smaller and lighter than it is. Shame the reliability and costs are what they are with the 335.

Hi Zonnie. The shape of the 370z RSB appears to be different than the shape of the G37S sway bar members are suggesting to use in a G37xS.

Does the design shape of the 370z RSB create fitment and/or install issues in a G37xS?

Here's a photo of a 370z RSB removed from a 2015 370z. Does this photo appear like the 370z RSB you installed in your G37X? If yes, how do you account for the different shape from the G37S RSB? Thanks in advance.

Im not sure of the one in your photo but it could just be the camera angle. I believe mine has the same color marking too but I'd have to check. I have a 2013 x-coupe and installed a 370z rear sway a few months back. Fitment was spot on and just like everyone else says the car feels more planted and less body roll in corners.
Hope this helps. Anyone else with the 370z sway feel free to chime in also.

MH2013, thank you for the input. Well, I bought the RSB so fingers x'd that it will be an appropriate fit.

It just struck me that the shape of the 370z RSB is slightly different than the RSB of the G37S I've seen posted on the forum.
