I have the swift springs on my 2012 g37x. Very happy with these and I would not want to go any lower than the swift springs with the awd. Here is a comparison with stock and swift springs.

I have it somewhere in my email, i can dig through and try to find it later. The struts ARE specific to the X model. The RWD ones are different.

As far as i know the XS is literally just a cosmetic upgrade on the sedan. Suspension on the X and XS is identical.

Awesome thanks for that. I'd really appreciate it if you could get me the model number. I've tried their site and Google to no avail.

If I drive on the highway or in the city I never scrape. The only time I scrape is on high speed bumps but it only scrapes on the bottom plastic cover that sits very low

Looks good. my plastic cover ended up being scratched to ****, I replaced it with the z1 motorsports aluminum engine undershroud one, I feel so much safer, even though it sounds sketch when you scrape. Highly recommend it.

Although, I agree with you completely. I hate how the plastic cover, as well as the sway bars sit really low, especially my hotchkiss ones, although they are protected by the undershroud now. I wish I could figure out how to make it higher, so the risk of scraping was less, but nothing I can do. I can't go any lower anyway and be okay with the driving, as my tires would rub on turns, which I don't want.

Here's a pic of the shroud, and a side shot. (P.S, I'm on Coils)

From my experience, the only manufacture that made AWD specific lowering springs for the G37 sedan was from Swift. I had no issues with them on my G37xS and would highly recommend them if in the market to upgrade to lowering springs.

After researching everything I decided the Eibachs would drop the car lower than I wanted so I went Swifts and my struts blew during install. Picked up a set of KYBs and the stance was perfect, for me at least. Didn't like the ride so I wound up going with Fortune 500s which handle great and ride great I just feel like the car is too low. But man she looks pretty...

Just curious, if you feel it looks too low with the FA 500, why don't you just raise it a bit?

I'm as high up as I can go without getting the struts rebuilt by Fortune. I'm on the fence, I may still do that but the other option would be to have Koni revalve the front struts and then go with Koni yellows on the rear and with Swifts again.
