Verdict on Tein Basis Z coilovers

Anyone on Tein Basis Z coilovers please post up your pics, specs, how much your dropped, how is the ride etc.
Really close on pulling the trigger on these as I can get them brand new shipped to my door for 470$ but I just haven't really seen any reviews or pics of them on the Gs. Thanks in advance Gs

The ride is much more stiff, but you'll get used to it after a while. Drop it to your liking. The fonts can go really low. The rears don't drop much but it's still a nice noticeable drop.

The Basis Z recently replaced the Basis, the only change AFAIK is the dampers are no longer serviceable, hence the nice price drop.

If you want more info check the review folder~

I bought these back in January and unfortunately was sent a defective rear spring. The issue was one of the rear springs kept sinking. Even when adjusted all the way up, the car sat right on the tire. I was highly disappointed and couldn't even return it since I waited to install these when winter was over. Contacted Tein and they weren't helpful at all.

Really sorry to hear about that. What did you end up doing with the set? Just got a set of laying around with 1 bad spring? That really sucks bro.

I have the fronts still on the car just don't have anything on the rear. Trying to find a used or new replaceable spring for the rear.

The company was an authorized dealer for tein. I contacted tein directly and they wouldn't really give me a straight answer, just looks like I got a bad set.

Wow, that's disappointing that neither the reseller nor the mfgr will assist.
Can you dispute the purchase with your payment service?
I know it's been a while since the purchase but sometimes they can help.

Also what about warranty claims?

Yeah, it's probably a lot easier to buy a replacement than to fight it through.

So all in all I realize that getting the Tein Basis Z is basically no different than getting any sort of spring setup with the height adjustment being the only benefit. No dampening adjustments and you still need to get a camber kit (if done properly). With the coilovers and camber kit (front and rear) you are still around $1k..... are there any other options to be able to find a decent set of coilovers that possibly come with a camber kit and dampening option for that same price?
