Doing allot of research on spacers and honestly unless your buying super quality spacers they are not worth the risk. Auto damage damage and personal damage increases the cheaper they are. I think your 20 to 40 thousand dollar car and your life are worth 200 bucks more than some crack in half and lose a wheel at 100 mph ebays....

Anyone install the Tanabe springs in the front themselves? I was wondering what kind of spring compressor you used...will the Autozone rental work?

Yeah, I rented a spring compressor from AutoZone. Check my build thread for my Tein spring install, there's a picture of it on the vice somewhere in there. You just have to tighten down each side evenly back and forth so it doesn't spring out one end and kill you in the face, no big deal.

Holy shiz dude your car looks awesome!
I only asked because these things appear to be dual rate springs and have less to grab hold of then a linear spring. Sounds good I will try the Autozone way!

for those with tanabe nf210 springs in the front when you did the alignment were they able to get the front all green (within specs)? i was expecting to see some red in the camber and green for toe but they were able to get it all within spec. i thought it was kinda weird

Did you wait for them to settle? How much did you drop in the front?
Tanabe says it will drop approximately 1 inch so should be able to get all in spec....

Going to put mine in as soon as my clamshell single action spring compressor gets here from Harbor Freight!

yea i waited about 3 weeks or so. i had them on my g35 and it was out of spec just a little. so thats what i was expecting. i guess the g37 is different. what does it mean when the wheel alignment print out doesnt show the "before" numbers jus the "actual" number readings? does it mean the alignment shop didnt have to do anything?

Yeah dude no problem. I don't think mine would have stayed in allowable range without the 1/4" spacer. I absolutely love my setup now and get compliments on it all the time how clean it looks. Nobody knows its dropped but certain people. They only notice the carbon fiber diffuser and exhaust thinking its factory sport model.

Confused, Saywat was questioning if his Tanabe front spring install should be falling into spec..he does not have the spacer you created. How did your thread answer his question? Yours is not a normal Tanabe spring install since you have a 1/4 inch spacer.

Everything I read about the Tanabe springs on the front is that there is no need for a camber kit and that they can be adjusted without.

Its when it drops more than 1 inch + that you have a problem.

Nonetheless, the spacer looks to be a great idea to confirm/guarantee that you will not need a kit. Question, do you notice any noise or anything in particular in ride quality etc with the spacer.?

Finally , can you make me 2 and how much?

^with his spacer hes dropped .75" as opposed to 1" with the tanabes in the front. i guess its not enough to throw the camber out of spec at .75" so it helped me to see that at 1" its possible that its still within spec too. which kinda answered my concern bc i was expecting it to be out of spec
