I would recommend going black with white Infiniti decals and nice clear coat or if you want it to stand out a bit more...glossy silver with or without black decal.

Non sport brakes aren't made to "show off" like their bigger brother...but a bit of neutral color does help.

 

Any input? Well, for non-sport brakes, just paint them satin black so that you don't call attention to them. They'll match well with the window tint and that ridiculous-looking nose bra. Maybe put a small, silver Fuji decal on them, but I wouldn't.

I'll say this, the matte grey finish on those rims looks absolutely great against Graphite Shadow. But it's negatively impacted by seeing silver-ish, corroded standard calipers, which are clearly on display because those wheels have such a wide open design. So I can feel why you want to paint them. But if you paint them in a color that stands out, it will only make it worse, and more than a little tacky. Which brings this full circle to that nose bra. Ugh.

So... paint them matte black, love the wheels, hate the bra. That's my input.

You could look into a clear bra. I have a clear bra on my front bumper and full clear hood bra. You truly do not even know anything is on the hood at all.

 

I have looked into clear bra's. After time they end up looking like crap unless you have them installed over and over again. I also don't like the line on the hood after the car is waxed.

 

The Xpel Ultimate does not yellow at all, comes with a 10 year warranty.

I did not want the line either, I got the full hood wrapped. Truly is worth it. Check the Xpel Ultimate out.

 

Off original topic, but on the recent one... has anyone ever replaced that little square of clear-bra that comes from the factory at the back of the side-sills? Mine is getting yellow... which may not be noticed on many cars that are any color but white.

 

IMO. Don't waste time on painting your calipers at all. Save your money and get some powder coated Akebono BBK's. I paid $1,700.00 total for blue powder coated calipers, StopTech drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads. I have SS lines, but if you don't the n about $200.00 for those. I know that's a lot more money than you want to spend now, but it's a huge aesthetic difference especially behind wheel like yours. Mine are revealing too and my OE brakes looked crappy.

 

This is how I looked at it, if I was going to mess with the brakes, it would be for something big. I don't think removing the calipers is worth all that extra effort just to paint them, I'll just upgrade. Even with getting new rotors, might as well go all out. For now, I can live with my non-sport brakes.

 

On principle, I don't disagree. However, your new wheels hide the non-sport brakes far better than the OP's 5-spokes.

I mean, just look at this picture. The entire caliper is on display between the spokes, to where you can just reach right in and grab the whole thing. In this particular case, painting them dark gray or matte black would make a big difference.
