Latest update, Aragostas won't be here til the end of May. They'll be shipped out the second week of May due to the "Golden Holiday" in Japan where everyone's off for a week. If they miraculously come in prior to May 2, they'll go out before then.

Cost before tax and duty is under $2300. Duty tax is estimated at around $50 (I think it's a 2.3% rate for coilovers imported from Japan to Texas). Brokerage fees will be the big mystery. If it were under $2K, there'd be no fees. Sometimes they let it slide, sometimes not so we'll see what it ends up at.

If anyone wants to know where I purchased them, shoot me a PM as I don't know what the rules are for mentioning a company that doesn't sponsor this forum.

Wow, that's quite a savings from the pricing I've seen, should be well worth the wait.
Nice to see your research & diligence will be paying off.

Yep, that's why I couldn't pass them up. Within about $100 of say the Powertrix UL's with Swift springs. And price includes shipping. So I'm getting a shock with known quality damping designed for the G37 and chosen spring rates. I can also upgrade them to 2-way down the line if I choose.

And I'm all for supporting vendors in the U.S. But not to the tune of handing them $1,000 for no real effort on their part.

Off topic a hair but just so everyone knows I'm not full of ****, here's a few shots of my old Aragostas I had on my FD RX7. I'd been looking for the photos for some time but I have a bunch of hard drives with images, like hundreds of thousands of images, (I'm a photog/editor by trade) and haven't been able to locate them. So I pulled some off that were archived on the RX7forum. I also went back and read my original description and writeup after installing them and I called them buttery glue. Apt description.
The ride was substantially better than the Teins I'd had on there prior. This is circa 2005.

Iron rotors plus living on the coast in Florida. If they sit more than a week, that's what they look like, LOL.

Got any more pics of that RX? Even if it takes the thread a bit off center it would be cool to see

Dual Mocals. Did the design myself.

Slightly older setup

I used to have a lot of exterior shots but I need to find them. My user name is rx75tt95 on the Rx7club.

And this is the cast, extra capacity oil pan that split after a dump truck dropped what can only be described as a boulder in front of me at 60 mph. It took out all of my lower front fascia and ripped the middle out of the pan. Dumped all the oil out and the engine received enough damage within 30 seconds to necessitate a $5K rebuild.

I do not. I sold it a number of years ago I picked up an Evo as a daily driver and was going to take everything a step further with the 7 and really make it even more track focused. I got to the point where I was out of the country and traveling quite a bit and just didn't have the time any longer. Moved on to bikes which were stupid fast out of the box and my wife and I could ride together. I just never got back into working on the 7. Sat in my garage and I worked on it now and again but when my wife became very ill, I sold it to help cover medical expenses.

Sorry to hear about your wife's condition, hope all that is behind you. Those medical bills can be bankrupting
Sounds like you've found different ways to cure your speed addiction, lol.

Yep, everything is good now and much of the lifestyle purge was to tighten things up as we didn't know what was going to happen. We prepared for the worst and hoped for the best.

I'm just trying really really hard not to mod the crap out of my current car. I am a recovering modaholic as they say. The suspension mods should be enough as I'm happy with the car otherwise and I no longer need a daily driver with 600hp.
