Alignment issues

I'm dropped on FA coils and have about 26.75" height in front and 27" in the rear and have the full front and rear spc alignment kits. My shop can't seem to get my rear aligned properly, because the toe will not get into spec on the left side but will on the right. Is there a certain way these to bolts have to be installed on each side to work correctly?

Were the toe slots elongated w/ a dremel tool (or equivalent)? Some shops have been known to just install the new bolts in the stock narrow slots and this will result in the same toe adjustment as you'd get w/ the original bolts.

Your shop should have NO trouble getting well into spec w/ those SPC kits, especially since you're not dropped deep at all.

Yeah they were elongated according to the template. I'm not sure what the deal is.

Maybe they didn't open the slot enough and the bolt is binding perhaps
Does the shop have several techs, might see if there's someone senior to the guy that did yours that might be more versed in those parts

I have not yet, just have not had time. I honestly am starting to think that the Gt spec lower tie bar I have which uses these bolts to attach is the cause of the issue. It may be sitting just a little off to one side not allowing the bolts to move as far as they need to on that side. I think I am going to remove it and see what happens.

I think I figured it out. When we elongated the slot, we only elongated the back part of the subframe (part that faces the rear of the car) it appears that I need to do the front side as well. Going to have this done next week and then get the car realigned with the brace on. Oddly enough the brace has a larger slot that matches the template.

Yep, let's hope so. The alignment issues were making me dislike my car. I am even tempted to throw my swift springs back on in the rear at the same time since every now and then at low speeds on rough surfaces I get some spring noise in the rear from the coils.

So had the holes enlarged, however they cannot get the driver side toe into spec. The passenger side is perfectly fine and so is the front. Had to set the rear camber to 1.6 and 1.9 to get the total toe dead center in the green. My steering wheel is just a little off and is pointed left slightly to go straight. I'm frustrated and out of ideas at this point

So strange that it's become such a chore to get this aligned to spec. I mean each car is a little different when you add up all the slight variance in the fitment of all the suspension parts but not to the point where you can't get it corrected.
Is there a chance one of your suspension parts got damaged? If not I think it's time to try another shop. Even pretty slammed drops can typically get into spec w/ the full F&R SPCs.
Is the shop that you're dealing with well versed in lowered cars? The first place I tried to get my G aligned when dropped was very unsure of what to do as far as adjusting those SPC kits. It seems that a lot of alignment shops just work on basic stock type suspensions and send anything that's "unknown" down the road

Yeah, it's a performance shop that a friend owns that is very well known in KC and he's never had issues with any of my cars before that were lowered. I think I may try another shop that specializes in race car alignments. The adjustments are pretty straight forward and he figured them out, but for whatever reason the driver side maxes out at .22 which is in just at the edge. I am starting to think that something maybe damaged in the rear left or perhaps something on the coilovers is not adjusted properly and throwing it off?

Is there a certain way the bolts/washers are supposed to be facing in order for the adjustment to be effective? blnewt, do you happen to have any photos of your setup that I could compare? You seem to have the exact specs of what I want my rear to be.
