I called a local shop near where I work to get a price on having my pads and rotors replaced on my 2010 G37X, front and rear. The guy called me back with a quote of $747.20. I ordered my parts from rockauto.com for $337.00 shipped and am going to do the job myself. I wanted to see what you guys thought of that quote. Is that guy crazy?

 

Yes, it is crazy. That's why you're doing it yourself and keeping $400 to spend on other stuff.

 

Be sure to do a full fluid flush too while you're at it, a qt will do, and be sure to follow this bleeding sequence
passenger rear, driver front, driver rear then lastly passenger front
