Why does my coupe look like it has a reverse rake???
New to the forums, but have been lurking for far too long. Finally brought one home! I guess this is my introduction, as well! So....Hello!
In the pic, you can't see it as bad, but it seems the *** end sags a lot lower than the front. I did a little search, and I guess I didn't search the correct phrase, and couldn't find an answer. It just looks really weird to me. Is this normal?
(Also, please don't comment on the asinine painted calipers, it's rained everyday since I brought it home, and I haven't had time to remedy the previous owner's......riceyness)

I thought that, too. I did a quick check underneath, and they don't look like they've been touched. I haven't taken the wheels off yet. I just wanted to check in case all of you "ridiculously more intelligent than honda drivers" myg37 people might know!
Tachyon, you must have replied right when I replied before. I am in the market for springs. Not sure I'm going with coils, no need in my daily. I like a little bit of a lower stance, and already purchased 20mm spacers. For the first time, I actually love stock wheels. Helps they are 19's, I guess.
Welcome to the site, maybe the previous owner hauled bags of cement on a regular basis?? And that front caliper could be worse, it could be a rice-a-roni caliper cover.
There's some mild drop options like Eibach & Swift, stay away from Tanabe though, they also sag in the butt
Also Tein Basis coilovers are an option, get just the drop you want and only about 2x the cost of a basic lowering spring.

Awesome! Thank you. Didn't know if I'd like it till I saw it in person! I know it will squat more on acceleration, just didn't realize sitting still. Oh well, I'll take your word for it
I'd run google images on "G37coupe with Eibach springs" and do the same w/ Swift. They're pretty close but I think the Eibachs drop a little more raked in front.
OP, just switched my setup to Tein S Tech front springs and Eibach rears for that rake look. Since the rear squats during acceleration and normal driving she sits perfect IMO, i love the look too much haha! Exactly what i was wanting in the look without having to get coilovers, can't wait to get my 20" deep concave wheels to really set it off.

I did google the eibach on there, and it definitely looks better, and with some spacers, I think it will sit perfectly for me!
I appreciate everyone's help, too
