It has been a while since I've checked my alignment. I'll double check that and see if it's out. Is there any issue with getting an alignment with winter tires on? The car has wider tires in the rear form the factory. My winter tires are the same width on all four corners. I wasn't sure if the difference in width would mess up the alignment measurement. I'll also replace my brake fluid maybe that'll help as well.

I'd like to solve this before throwing on another set of pads and rotors. Last time I had the judder I did just that. Replaced the pads and rotors. At 44,215 I put on new pads and rotors. The judder got so bad by 54,673 that I replaced the pads and rotors again. Both times the runout was like the dial indicator shows, less than or equal to .001. There has to be something else causing it. Both times I used StopTech rotors and pads. First I used their premium stuff, second (current) time I used their basic stuff. I'll try a different brand next time. Maybe brembo rotors and akebono pads.

I've read that others have had the judder with Hawk pads. However, looks like krazyfiend has had good luck with the Hawk 5.0s. Maybe I'll give those a try. It would be great if I could find a good combination of pads and rotors that could be recommended to others that have persistent judder.

I'm still considering replacing the hubs next rotor change. I'm pretty much there once the calipers and rotors are off anyway. After the hubs the only thing left would be the calipers.

I also have brake judder in my 2010 G37S coupe. I installed Posi quiet ceramic pads on my factory rotor with about 47,000 miles on them. About 7,000 miles later, I have mild brake judder when hitting the brakes around 45 mph or higher speed. My steering wheel shakes slightly when braking.

I jacked up the car and spin all four wheels. I noticed that only the driver front wheel would rub against the brake pads at one particular spot.

I'm going to try and sand down that particular area, then perform the high speed brake bedding procedure to see if it will get rid of the brake judder.
