No they were slotted. I never use drilled for that reason. I had used them all season and were just at the end of their life. It was a fun drive home as I did not have a spare set of rotors with me. In retrospect, I think they were undersized for that car. The next year I bit the bullet and got a real set of AP Racing brakes for the car. That was worth every penny.
By the way, what type of M3 do you have? I had an 05 coupe. Fantastic car!

I had 3 e36, one converted ex-club racer to street and 2 trailer queens. I am debating on which is my 2nd or 3rd favorite between my e36 street with do ANYTHING handling or the G67 with the power. 1st was my 3rd gen RX7 with ~350 RWHP. Weight is everything.

What exactly is a 2 person gravity bleed? By definition gravity bleeding is opening up a bleeder valve and allowing gravity to bleed it. Where does the 2nd person come in?

That sounds like it would take a while. I had an old mechanic who always called it gravity bleeding because you don't use a pump or vacuum. I mentioned this in the first post where one person pumps the brakes and the other cracks the bleeder screw. I'm sure there is a better name for it, but "gravity bleeding" always stuck in my head. Sorry for any confusion

On the G37 forum? The most interesing thing I had was a 94 318i from Spartanburg that was one of the practice cars before the Z3's (which are 90% the same) were built and had a US VIN number of #36, and had ~36k miles on it and was living life as a cone/lunch getter from Laguna Seca bought from a current IMSA/Sports car driver. I stripped the drive train out and installed one from a stolen and stripped 95 (best year) that had ~32k mil on it and no ECU on it. I got it from "Gotcha Auto" (I always use a Jersey accent when saying it) junkyard in NJ. Almost didn't get it as I bought it off the internet, very sketchy. I kept the 318i badges on it. Sick sounding custom exhaust through the rocker panel done buy a sprint car builder in Gasoline Alley. Roll cage from FABCAR in North Indy that did all the north America Porsche 962 frames. I did all the rest. Car looked like a bone stock 318 (with 17x10 forgelines with slicks) but cooked all street cars at the track bar something with a turbo or 400+ HP. I raced it one season and ran into money problems then sold it 3 years later 10 days before Christmas 1 month before my son was born so it was a good time to retire. I was still sorting it out during the season and consequently never was competitive. I did mostly track days and teaching with it afterwards. It did have coilovers and custom rolled fenders (done with a wooden bat) that had 2-3mm of clearance to the tires! Something the forum might care about. I don't have any pics or video at work but it's nothing to look at, but the story is cool! I called it FrankMstein. Pics later maybe.
