It seems to be a case by case basis. It may have something to do w/ the rear OEM setup with the separate spring/shock configuration. Some have no issues but we definitely hear from those that do
The KSport AWD coilover sets are a true rear coilover with the spring & shock as one unit like the fronts. This may be an option but there's very limited reviews on them, so not much of a sample to go by unfortunately.

Sad new guys, car was damaged in some big hail... Was not able to get it into cover in time.. Got blasted by toonie size hail for about 15 mins.. I haven't had to much time to look at it, but from when I was hiding in a parkade I dried about a foot off and saw about 20 dents on the roof

I'm bummed, heartbroken and sad all in one.

Almost broke into tears when I heard it thud off the car.

Good chance the car is going to be written off...

Didn't even get the chance to rip the oil pan / difs off it

Sorry to hear that, hope you get well compensated and hope you end up w/ your G properly fixed or another G in your ownership.

Nothing sweeter than a lowered red G.

Can't wait to see it with your new wheels.

This is like rubbing salt in his wound, lol. He just said the car was damaged, possibly to the point of being totaled.

Man that sucks, The G was looking so good. Does insurance at least let you take your after market parts off if its totaled?

Glad I didn't check this posts earlier, car will live, I'm going to attempt some PDR and insurance will cover the rest...

If they replace the hood and trunk, I'm thinking of ordering some carbon fiber goodies from out cast garage.

Hopefullly the PDR will work out to your satisfaction, keep us posted on how it works out. Outcast is a good group so you should be happy w/ their service.

Glad to hear your G pulled through. And amen on the carbon fiber lol, I've always told myself if I have to get a replacement hood I'll fork over a few hundred extra for the CF one.

Put the rims on today, need to do some tweaking with a little spacing. But they look great!

Excellent! Nice choice for sure. Did you get all the hail damage taken care of, that pic doesn't show any.

That looks sweet. What tire sizes are you running?
