Swift vs Eibach in San Francisco?

Sorry I know this has been covered many times but it seems like a lot of you live in places with nice stretches of open roads. I live in San Francisco where there are pot holes with steep enough hills to feel like a roller coaster! I don't want to slow down at every driveway, speed bump and angle up around and over just to get by. I've had enough scraping in my 2002 Acura TL-S

Looking to lower the car on springs for aesthetic purposes. Looks like the best options for the LOWEST drop are the

Swift Sport Part number #4N906
Front -1.3
Rear -1.0

Eibach Pro Kit Part number #63105.140 (IPL)
Front -1.2
Rear -0.5

Even those both these look good IMO is it a pain for city driving? Would it get annoying after a while? Also quick question, it seems like spacers aren't required but might be needed if you want the rims to be flush with the body?

Thanks guys. (don't kill me)

Not sure about that minimal .5" drop on the Eibachs Sounds a bit more conservative than what Eibachs typically drop. If you want to get the exact drop you want or have the ability to adjust it as needed you might consider The Tein Basis, these are a mild drop coilover that can adjust from about 1" down to 2" so you could get the mild drop and not compromise your OEM dampers. Here's some info on them and they go for a bit over $600 or about 2x what the springs would go for.

And the specific Infiniti coupe data

Would you guys say an inexpensive set of coilovers like the ones blnewt posted would be better than a good set of lowering springs?

The advantage of those Teins is they use the OEM front Strut hats which eliminates a noise source of many of the cheaper Taiwan coilovers. Tein is a japan-based company and has a good track record w/ suspension products.

As far as being better than lowering springs, IMO they'd be better long term since they're designed to work together and you have full shock travel. This compared to lowering springs that always have the OEM dampers compressed and only utilize a 2/3rds of their travel (give or take).

Another great option is mating lowering springs w/ premium dampers such as Koni Yellows, but this puts the set into a higher price point.

Thanks @blnewt for the info. I would rather get coilovers, I think everyone would rather get coilovers...but I have an IPL to pay for hah! Good thing about springs are that you can but it now and in the meantime save money for some shocks.

Lets say I only want springs for the time being, which springs would you recommend for the city? Swift or Eibach and why?

Thanks in advance!

Swift seem to be closest to OEM ride from most of the reviews, both are pretty well received products around here though.

I have Eibach springs on mine (X coupe) and I drive in SF from time to time and I don't have any issues.
