Z1 Akebono Sport Brake Upgrade Package (Front & Rear)
Looks great. Thanks for the update. I saw on another post, that you should make sure that your spare is up to size otherwise you might be without a way to get around on a flat as the default spare is a 17" I believe. And that doesn't clear these brakes. Just something to think about. Time for me to start saving my pennies so I too can get this upgrade going.

might want to check your rear caliper as i think it is installed the wrong way... some of these rotors are directional and your rears are the opposite from your fronts...
i put stoptech on mine and had L and R stamped on them... it has something to do with the cooling chambers in the rotors...

From: Framingham Ma,
Run that by me again, the caliper or the rotor? The caliper is in the stock location .Not sure how it could be installed wrong, and the caller boxes had left and right on them.
I don't think he meant the caliper location but rather the direction of the slots on the rotors. Could be the pics but the direction of the slots seem to not match. Great upgrade as I'm thinking of the same package myself.
yeah i meant the direction of the rotors, the direction of the slots does depend on manufacturer but your fronts and backs are not same direction so i figured one of them may be on the wrong side.
i put on stop tech rotors on mine and i know they face forward.....
it doesnt affect stopping power, but does affect the rotor life as they are not cooling as efficient as they should.

Actually, you know I didn't notice it the first two times I looked but yes, that rear driver rotor looks like the slot is backwards. The front driver looks fine. Might be good to just double check that with the folks that installed it for you. It was very hard to see it as it is a small photo and not a close up. Good catch, tbulsara....
