Brake light while WOT
Brake light while WOT
I've noticed that most of the time during moderate to hard acceleration, the brake light comes on on the dash. If it says on for a while the traction control turns off.
I know it's not the emergency brake pedal sensor, since if I step on it while driving I get the warning to disengage it right away.
Any ideas?

Dont top it off
Change your Brakes. Thats the issue.
If you top off your fluid, and then happen to change your brakes...then you will have to remove some Fluid.
This happened to me a few weeks back. The brake light would come on, the VSD would stay on. I changed the Brakes and it went away.

What you describe with the VDC and SLIP lights also happened to me a few weeks back, but my pads and rotors were fine. All I had to do was rebleed the brakes, I probably had some air bubbles in there from my last brake job.

The fluid levels is low because the pads have worn down. Adding fluid is a temporary fix since you're most likely due for a pad change. ^why would you change your fluid every time you change your pads?
Top off fluid for now. That is the most direct fix.
Get your brake pads checked. Usually the slip/brake light combo is correlated with a much needed brake pad change and low brake fluid due to that specifically....as mentioned above lol.

You're probably supposed to get a drain & fill on the brake fluid every 15-30K miles depending on how you drive. So it stands to reason that you'd probably have this service coincide with a pad replacement. Not always, but it may be close enough to do both in the same visit to the dealership.

Thank you gentlemen. BTW, I've never seen a car that will trip a low brake fluid warning when the pads are worn. The fronts are six months old, don't know about the rear. I'll be checking the fluid and pads.
What type of fluid does the G take?
check your brake pads and discs,
I had the same symptoms and the rear pads were worn
