brake noise from new brakes

hi guys I just recently put some hawk hps carbon pads with stoptech drilled and slotted rotors only in the fronts. and I noticed I get brake squeak at low speeds. and I also get brake pedal shudder on uneven pavement when I put my foot on the pedal without pushing down. what can I do to fix this?

Did you apply caliper grease to the back and the sides of the backing plates?

what this guy said. some people also say to do the caliper pins, but in my experience doing the pad backing plate is more important

I put grease on the backing plate and a some on the side tabs. should I have taken off the backing plate and put grease underneath that? and do you guys put grease on the caliper piston?

I also noticed some groaning from the brakes when I come to a complete stop and when I slowly let go of the brake pedal

If you used shims behind the backing plate (not sure if used w/ Akebonos) you should put a light coat between the shim and the backing plate and a bit heavier coat on top of the shim, that heavier coat should be adequate coverage so greasing the piston isn't really necessary.

Did you bed the pads as per Stoptechs procedure?

Sometimes even after applying grease, brake anti squeal, and bedding it in properly you may still get a slight squeal even if very faint randomly.

I have learned thats just Nissan.
