KW 10285007 V1 Coilover Kit vs V3

Has anyone tried this kit out (V1)? Looking to purchase in a few days. Does the stock setting have the right plush, rigidity or just about right for a sports ride? What about hitting pot holes? I'm not tracking the car but want a comfortable ride with nice firm suspension for driving. Need honest NO BS answers.

Thanks, Justin.

I haven't heard any bad things about the V1. My V3 setting are towards more compression and rebound and I don't mind it. My only complaint is that it's too low in the rear even at their highest settings.

I just had these installed the past weekend and so far I'm loving them. These are 1000x better than the BC CO's I was riding on. The ride is very smooth and any bumps/dips in the road can barely be felt. The only knock on them is the same thing that rks complains about. The rear suspension at the highest setting leaves the wheels tucked causing my exhaust to scrape on some slopes, but other than that no complaints so far.

I wonder if longer rear springs could be ordered? This was an issue w/ BC coilovers and they ended up shipping them out w/ longer springs to have a higher "minimum" setting. It would be worth inquiring since once you have a real low rear setting the front has to be at least as low to look proper, and like you mentioned it can be hard to navigate if you get too low.
2007BlueSlate, do you have pics of your setup?

I think the Audi scene was having similar concerns and KW started selling spacers. You can still buy them but when I called KW they said it would void your warranty. My rears are tucked in, I think it looks fine but I wish I had some room to make adjustments.

That's the same as my coils, the highest setting is still about zero gap (which luckily is fine w/ me but it would be nice to have the option of another 1/2").
It's interesting that they sell them that way since if you completely run the rear adjuster all the way down you're tires will be literally stuck to the car.
