What color did you use for those calipers?

 

My car didn't come with calipher, is that normal?

how much do they generally cost and is it more for show?

 

Your car has calipers, but they're floating calipers that don't look good but get the job done.
The fixed calipers in this thread obviously look great but they also are set up for performance braking. These larger calipers (and the bigger rotors) stay cooler longer to resist fade and allow for quicker pad changes. This is for when tracking the car and you want to change to a track performance pad.

Hey all, just finally got on this site. Actually set up a profile the night I bought my 2008 G37s Coupe, Liquid Platinum back in Jan 2014 but its my first post...This has been on my mind since day 1 to paint the calipers but had zero info on details.
I am a huge Baltimore Ravens fan and want to go Purple on my liquid Platinum G. I figured would be better than a tacky license plate or decal on the car. Do they have that VHT Paint in Purple?

You could have a shop make a custom color for you or have them powdercoated, that color should be available in powder.
