Finally got coils and wheels
It's having the tires stretched on wheels so much that the rim pokes out. Is that intentional, or did you buy the wrong tires? In this picture here, it sure looks like the offset on those rear wheels is messed up. It would probably look a whole lot better if you went square.

No, it's not that. I get that there's a (mostly) young crowd that has this compulsion to drop their car so low that it becomes a challenge to simply drive it. That's fine if that's your thing. Good luck with that. When I was a kid, we used to jack the back end of our cars way up in the air, with the kind of massive wheel gap that would make you faint. Was it dumb? Oh yeah, it was equally stupid. But we did it anyway, because racecar.

There's no such thing as offset being "messed up" I choose the wheel sizes, offsets, and tire sizes.
We all have our own style. I prefer doing things my way since I'm building this car how I want it... Not for anyone else.
I'm not arguing with you, OP. You never actually said whether you were happy with this look, you just put it out there, open for comments. It's OK, Yoshi... peace brother.
Hey, you know that I'm jazzed to be getting these little SS control *****, right? Your thread is what brought it to my attention, so thanks for that, man.

As far as the wheels, if they make you happy that's what counts. Looks like you've got some work ahead of you but getting things just as you want is rarely simple. The one big downside to stretched is leaving that rim so exposed to curbage and the tread wear that comes w/ those setups.
Look forward to pics when you get your setup just right
Probably feels closer to high end German switchgear, one thing I miss from our 7 series.

I'm ordering camber arms soon, and might pull the rear fenders just a bit, should look even better when I get my ride height all even and how I want it.
and thanks everyone!
I agree that it does leave the wheel more exposed but I'm used to running stretched tires. From my experience as long the toe is dialed in then the tire wear isn't that bad.

I will prob go with oem spec on the toe for the time being.
Looks clean.....only thing is I fear stretching tires out that much. If you hit one pothole too hard, bead will unseat on you in a heartbeat man. Working at a tire I seen it happen on too many times.
Also how is the ride on the coils? Planning on putting some on my car if I keep it once this factory warranty it up.

Coils rides nice, not too stiff but not as sloppy as stock.
Those tires on those rims are a massive blowout waiting to happen. If they unseat you will lose pressure violently which may lead to handling problems
Did a professional shop mount them and comment on the safety?
I use discount tire and they are so conservative that if the tires are too old or even slightly damaged they will not put them back on the car.
